Anxiety can cause multiple physical symptoms, and one of them is the inability to perform certain everyday tasks, work-related assignments, or social activities.
You have a to-do list.
You know what needs to be done.
But you can’t move.
You stare. You scroll. You freeze.
And then the guilt creeps in… “Why can’t I just do it?”
This is anxiety paralysis.
A hidden struggle where the brain is so overwhelmed that the body shuts down.
But here’s what I’m learning:
You don’t need to climb the whole mountain today.
You just need to find one foothold.
Small steps count.
🎯Getting out of bed
🎯Brushing your teeth
🎯Taking a 5-minute walk
🎯Answering one message
🎯Writing just one chapter
🎯Taking a deep breath
🎯Drinking a glass of water
These actions might seem small—but they are bold acts of resistance against anxiety.
Progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s just steady.
So if today feels heavy, give yourself permission to move slowly.
Healing is not a race—it’s a rhythm.
