I still remember 2023, sitting in class and trying to focus on the lecture, but in the back of my mind, all I could hear was:
🎶 “Baby Shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo…”
🎶 “Five little monkeys jumping on the bed…”
Not quite the academic soundtrack I was expecting.
But songs that
Reminded me of home.
Reminded me of my kids.
I missed the routines — going for walks, bedtime stories.
I missed the chaos.
I missed the joy.
But funny enough… those songs, those memories — they kept me going.
Amid deadlines, reading overload, and mental fatigue, it was the songs in my memory that kept me grounded.
Those invisible moments of connection reminded me:
I’m doing this for them.
I’m doing this for us.
To every parent who’s juggling school, work, and home life — I see you.
It’s not easy. Some days can be incredibly lonely and tough.
But your love, your sacrifices, your silent strength — they’re shaping something beautiful.
I constantly remind myself of this, and I hope you do too:
You are not behind; You are building.
Keep going.
