Learn to choose your battles wisely. It is not everything you are to engage in. It is not every conversation you are to be part of King Saul would have died if he had stood up to fight Goliath. He knew his combating tactics is not fighting one on one but fighting with his army. He believed in the “together we are the stronger approach” but Goliath’s challenge was one-on-one combat for which David was an expert; with reference to his track record in the wilderness.
Being wise enough, King Saul gave David the chance to fight Goliath. In the end, David won, inherently king Saul and the whole of Israel won. When you give gifted people room, you flourish.
When you sit in a bus, at the office or wherever and there is an argument or conversation you know nothing about don’t be too quick to jump into it. You can’t be part of every conversation. You can’t marry everyone or anyone; stay in your lane.
You can’t do everything, else you will break down. Don’t be a jack of all trades master of none.
Focus on what you are good at and leave the rest to other able men and women who can do what you can’t.
